Plans have changed for what was one of the largest proposed high-rise projects in Bellevue. Situated on 4.6 acres of land, Cloudvue is switching gears from office towers to residential buildings, according to permits that were recently submitted to the City of Bellevue.

The newly submitted plans include three 600 foot multi-family residential towers with above and below grade parking, totaling 1,428 stalls. The podium includes approximately 100,000 square feet of retail space, which also includes a 40,000 square foot grocery.

Now referred to as “Cloudvue 2.0”, the project is located at 10855 Northeast Eighth Street.

The project, which is planned to be 1.7 million square feet in total, was going to consist of two towers with office space, while the third tower was to be 416 residences and 286 hotel rooms.

Cloudvue had also planned a live-events venue, called “The Playhouse”, and a mist garden. The first phase was slated to reach completion in 2026, featuring an office tower, and eight months later, a hotel with residential units.

Cloudvue was previously referred to as Elev8. It was purchased in 2018 for $128 million from the developer, Plus Investment USA. They originally purchased the property in 2014 for $75.9 million.
